A part of her is grateful that Lup's unwilling to sleep, if only to quell her own fears. It's a constant worry, even on a good day, that they might not wake up, and her anxiety surrounding that became worse with Lup covered in injuries-some visible, some not. She's more than happy to accept that answer and cover the wall behind her with beautiful things for her eyes to look at when she does eventually nod off to sleep. "Okay, I'll 'tuck you in' later."

But for now, pretty things, which aren't limited to the multi-colored objects on the wall, though she starts there with a light tap of her chalk-right on the fire. "This pretty thing keeps you warm and happy. It's big and-," She draws a line around the stars, leaning over Lup's head to make loops around them."-You can count these stars when you get tired or sad."

More loops. More stars. A tree. A heart with a wizard hat. A heart with cat ears. Lup herself even makes it into the pretty pile on the wall and, as an added bonus, they come with their own dumb commentary like pretty people and pretty trees. She's a great art critic. Incredible. Look at all these dumb pictures. It's around the 200th star that she turns her attention back to her aunt, gestures to her injured arm, and finally asks-"Does it hurt less-When you look at these things?"

If she says yes, success. If she says no, Ren's got plan b-z at the ready.
