[The first time Ren dumps her trash at his feet has Guzma actually staring back at her, confused and a little surprised, though at her insistence (the staring - er mean the staring) he actually takes a few bits of food and water to keep up his energy. He has rations, of course, but more is never to be frowned upon. The water is what easily goes first - it's the hardest to obtain when everything is frozen - and he also shares with his pokemon as well. Ariados is most curious about the little girl, having never seen her before now, and peers around Guzma's legs each time she draws near.
