Shepard has been making her way over the island, observing and talking and soaking in as much of the culture that she can. It had been a delight to come to this new island to find it populated by a people who did not immediately try to kill them on sight. Where help is needed, she's there. Where information is, she's there, quietly listening and asking questions. It's not long at all before she's directed over to Munin and she heads that way dutifully.

When she sees her she's barely able to restrain her shock. Holy hell, she's huge! But all the same she gets it under control and holds out a hand to shake.

"I'll keep that in mind, ma'am. It's good to meet you. I'm Commander Shepard. I'd like to formally offer my services in protecting and defending everyone here on the island during the dark times."
