Huge size, from what I've seen of them, and... I don't find them difficult to take out, but I'm a mid-high-level adventurer, so personal experience may not be an ideal general case study. [He isn't going to assume a young, small girl has access to no powers or abilities that would make a hydra battle manageable, but he isn't going to assume she DOES have any either.]
