It's naive, I think, to say that when this is all over I'll be happy. Who knows what could happen? I've lost friends and valuable things, I've made mistakes I'll have to live with, I'll still have a lot of work to do. And not having a quest hanging over me for years will be strange at best -- and it could end up with me not knowing what to do, and messing up because of that.

But if we succeed, I'll have had a part in saving the world. Twice depending on how you count it. I'll have done a very good thing, and no one will ever be able to take that away from me. That much I know for certain.
