[Muffet laughs lightly, a refined little sound that manages to come off as both sweet and- thanks to her appearance- vaguely sinister. She's genuinely relieved to see that this child appears to be unharmed, although some stray part of her mind is briefly a bit concerned for that poor octopus.]

Oh my, what a charmer- I'm terribly flattered.

[It's not an unheard-of reaction to her, although humans did tend more often to fear or confusion. But there are more important priorities at the moment, and her tone is sympathetic when she replies:]

I take it you've only just arrived here, with no memory of how you did? Unfortunately, this place seems to have a terribly rude habit of stealing people away from other worlds.

It's a frustrating situation, to say the least- but if you wouldn't mind coming with me, I can at least see to it that you get a decent meal and something warm to wrap up in.
