[Newt has staked out a small area near the entrance himself, mostly so he can watch people trickle in, and has taken to gathering any large plant leaves he can get his hands on and laying them out on the stone, as well as piling up driftwood. He'll occasionally call out to people he's met, and, once it starts getting more full, start to direct people around to different areas. Feel free to see him running about and herding people around(literally, with flailing arms and everything.)
