He glances uncertainly at Tibia, silently asking her a question, which she just as silently answers in the affirmative before paying suspiciously close attention to her claws. No tears, which only stands as a testament to how strong this kid actually is.

"She, uh... she lost her mom a short while ago. It's still a pretty sore point with her. I've been taking care of her best I can but... y'know. It's really hard to lose someone close to you like that when you're that young."
