Yes, most of them look like plants or animals, but they're usually bigger, meaner, and they tend to spawn in dungeons. But if they're not taken care of, they'll just as easily venture out into the open and attack towns.

Some of them even seem specially adapted to using people or animals as part of their life cycle. Man-eating plants, for example... they'll use people as fertilizer.
