[Wow, Niisan... that's pretty terrible.]

[It's doing the job, though: all the racket is definitely keeping the centipuppies interested. They bunch closer together at the base of Osomatsu's tree, yarping and climbing over one another, but thankfully no closer to figuring out how to get up the tree themselves.]

[While the beasts are preoccupied, Ichimatsu keeps shimmying up his own tree. He makes it about halfway up before he clambers out onto a branch, leans down, and starts rapidly breaking off the smaller branches, leaves, and other bits of foliage. With the heated atmosphere and only a bit of rain in the past month, most of it is pretty dried out -- and that's exactly what he's looking for.]

[It does mean that collecting it all is a pretty noisy task, though. With one arm clutching his supply, he pauses to glance up at Osomatsu, spinning his index urgently in a small circle.]
